Why Can I Not Edit Some Clips on Upload Studio
I'm in the same gunkhole as the original affiche. Upload studio support was stopped and i can't even trim a video in the xbox app. I as well have no way to join videos any longer. Why was this app removed,? I empathize at that place's no support, at that place hasnt been for years now merely the app still worked well for the most function. This really sucks and sharing clips and montages with friends is no longer possible on xbox.

Okay, then while investigating the issue, I came beyond a website that referred to a message Microsoft had sent out to Xbox Live users.
(Embarrassingly enough, I didn't fifty-fifty notice until I read about it on that site. And then, I checked my messages and there it was.
(This is the message I received on 9/21/2020)
"Thank you for playing on Xbox. This fall, we're replacing Upload Studio with a new share feel available via the Xbox app on mobile. Yous can still trim your game clips from the Capture & share tab in the console guide, and with the new feel on mobile it'southward uncomplicated to manage your uploaded captures and share them to popular social media sites."
Under the message they provided a link you can reach by clicking on "Launch site"
Here is the link I was sent to explaining the matter in more details about what's going on. Also, it provides quite a chip on what's to come besides as the all new Xbox app (Beta), updates, and much more than.

This is sooooooo frustrating. Xbox seems to accept decided it's ok to continually remove functionality. First, they removed the ability to share recorded PC gameplay. This likewise removed the ability to edit Xbox clips from PC. So, I was heavily reliant on trimming on the Xbox, merely the "new" manner has never worked for me. 100% of the fourth dimension, it gets stuck. So, I always used Upload Studio. At present, that doesn't work either. I'm heavily involved in an Xbox Order, but at present it's pointless. If I want to share, I have to share a 2 infinitesimal clip, and tell them to get to a specific minute marker? STUPID! Also, at present I can't edit recordings directly from Xbox Live. So, once they are no longer on my Xbox, I'm screwed (that's assuming I even could utilize the broken, only method to trim, at present).

I concur! I can't sympathise why, but it's as if Microsoft doesn't desire Xbox to have user anymore. PC already has such an reward in every way over xbox. Why accept away the few lilliputian crappy features we had left!? Seriously! And Microsoft just keeps stripping information technology more & more. I utilize to love Microsoft but within the last few years, I'm highly disappointed with their path they've decided to take catering solely to PC & the neglect they at present show for the loyal xbox users they've had for many years.

In regards to the editing.... accept yous found anything yet to edit your videos on xbox? I tin't notice anything. I accept the same outcome when attempting to trim my videos, itll stop one-half way threw, my screen turns black & that'southward it. Upload studio wasn't the best, but it nonetheless permit us trim & edit with a handful of editing options.
All I simply want is to trim & upload some gaming clips. That's it. Nothing fancy, not trying to make a motion picture for YouTube....I just wanna mail service some clips on xbox. Lol
Why is that so difficult? Why can't a multibillion dollar visitor make that happen? Or better yet, why keep taking from Xbox? So pissed off with Microsoft. Lol. I really am.

I prefer playing on PC, but with a young family, it'south hard to get into a figurer game. It'due south much easier to play a console game. My son loves sitting on my lap while I'm playing games.
It would exist abrasive if they removed your preferred fashion of editing, only they've gone beyond that, and made it incommunicable to edit at all. That'due south more than than annoying, it feels almost evil.

I still take not found a solution. I even reset my Xbox, assuming in that location was but something decadent, but after resetting, I yet get the issue of the blackness screen later on attempting to trim video clips. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I believe setting the recording resolution to 720p makes it a little easier to edit using the "new" mode. Tends to freeze/crash less often. But it however does information technology from time to time.
I don't know what'due south so new about it, that crappy outset-assistance editor was at that place I remember always. Upload Studio was manner better. As someone said, not perfect but gave u.s.a. a lot of options. I'd look it to exist updated for Series South/X, non buried like so many other useful or creative projects they abandoned.
